How to tell you're Colorguard (and Marching Band)

You're on CG or MB if...

1) ... you have a practice flag at home

2) ... you have an ol practice flag from last year at home

3) ... you have used the silk as a dress

4) ... you know these terms: drop spin, toss, cap, silk

5) ... you get jealous of other teams' flags

6) ... you have had a flag swordfight

7) ....you make the uniform sexi

8) ... you've been to band camp

9) ... you consider the guard the cheerleaders of the band, and real cheerleaders are a facade

10) .... you have been forced to sit thru a session of "learning to count to music"

11) .... you make up routines in your head to music on the radio

12) .... you've been hit over the head by a flag

13) .... it was your flag

14) .... you're reading this

15) ... you've told another guard member they stole your flag

16) ... you've been forced into embarassing routines

17) .... he wind is your enemy

18) .... you've yelled at the wind

19) .... you've used a rifle without shooting

20) .... you count by 2's and 4's

21) .... you've created names for the moves that noone else understands

22) .... "i'm good with my hands" isn't totally sexual to you, it's a fact of life

23) .... you have your captain, the drum major, and your squad on speed dial

24) ... you've designed a band t-shirt in your head

25) .... you hate marching practice without your flag

26) .... you are a multi-task thinker

27) .... you have band tan

28) .... two words: "boogie box"

29) .... you know what a back scratcher and a butterfly are

30) .... you sit on your silk to avoid grass stains

31) .... you thank god you don't have to wear the band hat and overalls

32) .... when someone finds out you'rfe in band and say, "what instrument do you play?" you say, "I play the flag"

33) .... you twirl water bottles and whatevers in sight

34) .... in some cases, if your boyfriend plays a brass instrument (tuba, mellofone)

35) .... if you get excited that you've moved up a size in your bra or butt because you get a bigger uniform, or vice versa

36) .... you wish CG was in the olympics

38) .... you say "can you do me?" before every game

39) .... you bring a lot of food and a cell phone everywhere

40) .... you mark time sub conciously

41) .... you march in the halls

43) .... you can't clean without interuption from twirling whatevers close

44) .... you have band music constantly on your mind

45) .... you take the saying "early is on time, on time is late, and late is dead" too literally
